Flickerfest Festival Co-ordinator wanted.

Flickerfest, Australia’s premier International Short Film Festival is looking for a dynamic and passionate person with demonstrated arts experience and qualifications to join us as our Festival Coordinator for Flickerfest 2010 for a 6-month period, commencing late October, early November 2009.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to play a pivotal role in helping grow and develop an internationally acclaimed and Academy® Accredited short film festival. The festival will take place from the 8th til the 17th of January 2010.  There is enormous scope in this position for career experience and professional development.  The job will be assisting the director and festival manager with all aspects of co-ordinating and running a 10-day festival and 20 venue national tour. The co-ordinator also assists with our successful distribution catalogue of short films for sale in Australia and around the world.

This is a full-time, contract for 6 months with an option to extend after this time.
