big budget / low budget @ CIFF 09

Monica Penders, our friend from SreenACT and producer of the upcoming The Secret of Moonacre, is giving a talk at the Canberra International Film Festival this Sunday 3.30pm at Dendy.  It is a one hour “masterclass” on Producing a Big Budget Films – the Multimillion Dollar International Co-production.

Monica is doing a warts and all talk on her experience, subtitled “Floors I have Slept On – notes from a diary of a first time independent film producer”.

Also (just before) at 2pm Emma Franz will also be talking about Producing a Low Budget film - the intimate documentary and about her documantary Intangible Asset No. 82, the story of a jazz drummer and his search for a spiritual and drumming master in Korea.

Cost for each session is $10.
