'Hey, I’m Katya

My way of approaching roles is to look for the truth, feel it out. I think one of the best ways to reach an audience is through honest emotion.

I have done acting short courses with NIDA and The Kari Harris casting agency. I am currently a student at the National Acting School

I got involved with acting because I find people fascinating, what motivates us and how we behave. It’s also quite thrilling to inhabit someone else, lets you live a thousand lives in one.

A bit about me: I am currently doing a bachelor of writing at the University of Canberra and trying to learn guitar, the writing defiantly comes easier.'

Hi there, my name is Hannah Dawson, I'm nearly 15 years old and I'm an actress.

I've been training to be an actor at The National Acting School in Canberra with Bobby Farquhar for nearly 5 years.

I've also done a couple of courses at Screenwise in Sydney with well known director Chris Martin Jones (Packed to the Rafters) and well known professional Australian actor Grant Bowler (Ugly Betty, Lost, Sea Patrol). While doing these courses I was very privileged to have such positive feed back from both mentors.

I've just finished working on the re imaging of Romeo and Juliet for Canberra Dramatics as part of a creative writing team. I have just auditioned for the lead role of Rosaline and I have been successful and landed that role.

I'm also currently starring in a short film called BLOOpERS. I'm a really passionate actor; I take my job as an actor very seriously and enthusiastically.

I love doing accents and I'm especially good at American and UK English. My Acting age is between 14 and 17. I have the experience, confidence and determination to ACT in any role.

My goal is to one day play the assistant or an alien in the Dr Who series in the UK.
